Denver Hebrew |
Inspiring Jewish Pride and Identity in Jewish Children - the future of Judaism. |
At Denver Hebrew we prepare our children to fully experience Hebrew through our syllabus on listening, reading and writing Hebrew. To teach Hebrew to our students we use the acclaimed Aleph Champion Program which is on the cutting edge of Hebrew reading today and is modeled after the Karate/Martial Arts motivational system.
Our children gain excitement in the lead up to holidays, appreciate Jewish history, and understand the importance of Jewish values and ethics through our cutting-edge Judaica curriculum. Throughout the years at Denver Hebrew, students gain an appreciation and understanding of Jewish history, Mitzvot, Israel, Jewish moral values, and general Jewish trivia.
We host incredible Jewish holiday events and family celebrations bringing our learning and heritage to life. This gives the entire family the opportunity to experience the warmth and community of Denver Hebrew. From engaging and meaningful High Holiday services, Pizza in the Sukkah, Chanukah extravaganzas, a Grand Purim party & masquerade, a Passover Seder, and a hearty Shavuot ice cream party – our events are not-to-be missed heartwarming community celebrations.
Welcome to Denver Hebrew, an exciting and innovative Jewish educational program that takes place on Sundays 10 AM -12 PM for children ages 5-12!
We have a particular focus on educating children through the use of fine and performing arts including puppetry, drama, music, cooking, workshops, science, games, apps and more – Making Jewish learning and living come to life.
Denver Hebrew is a warm, all-encompassing, non-judgmental environment; welcoming Jewish families from all backgrounds. We acknowledge and respect the diversity of our children; while emphasizing Jewish values of family, community, compassion, joy, tradition and rituals.
At Denver Hebrew, our goal is simple: We want our students to view Judaism in an intelligent, relevant and upbeat light. By year's end, along with the Aleph- Bais, Holiday learning and Hebrew literacy, your child will have developed a deep love and appreciation for their precious heritage, imbuing their every day with a sense of pride and purpose.
No synagogue membership is required to be part of Denver Hebrew. We welcome you to our school community and invite you to join us for our extensive array of programming.
