Ruvis Upsherin

  • My name is Ruvi and soon I'll be three, My parents are making a party especially for me.

It's more than a birthday, as you'll hear in this rhyme, We're going to cut my hair for the very first time.

An 'upshernish' is Yiddish, it means cutting hair.

    A Kippah and Tzitzit

    I'll now get to wear.

My new Kippah and Payot will announce clear and loud, that I'm a Jewish little boy, and I'm so very proud.

Adults & kids can take a snip and be part of my transition, So please come and join in this beautiful tradition.

Hope to see you there as I become a little man, Lots of love from Ruvi and the Sirota clan.

PS. Please text my Totty or my Mommy and let them know your and your family are coming so they can prepare properly, or fill out this form and I'll know that your coming!
